From the Dust Bowl to California: The Beautiful Fraud

I read an article by Jessica Teisch about the migrant workers in California. This article was very nicely written in the way that it explains how hopeful and yet ignorant the migrant workers were. They were tricked into thinking that life was all peachy in California. It also connects the migrant workers to the weather and land. Describing how there will always be implications of the seasons. I really liked this article and it was helpful in order to make connections outside of the book.
