Cinderella Story (In our time)

The podcast compared Jane Eyre to Cinderella and her backstory.  I found this really interesting and once I heard it a light bulb went off and it made a ton of sense.  Jane was raised in a wealthy family but yet she was treated absolutely terrible and she never saw an ounce of that wealth.  This is exactly what happens in the Cinderella story too.   Also when everything seems to be going good for Jane and Mrs. Reed gets a letter that her Uncle is allowing her to inherit all his fortune I think Mrs. Reed gets jealous and that is why she is so salty when Jane comes back to visit her on her death bed.  This same sort of thing happened in Cinderella.  Now pros and cons of the listening to the podcast.  Pros: It opened my mind to a lot of things about the book that I never would have thought of.  Also it gives us a good background of the book and Charlotte's life.  Con: If you don't pay attention it will just end up confusing you.  Other than that there isn't any cons.  I found it to be very helpful.
