The pros about this podcast were the in depth questions and thoughts they had about certain details. They talked a lot about the characters in the novel and how they compare to Jane herself. I really liked the idea they had about how Bertha Mason was a sort of dark shadow to Jane because in the beginning of the story, Jane was sort of a rowdy animal as a child. Another point in the podcast interested me when they discussed the background of Charlotte Bronte in a little more detail than our flipped lessons, and it gave me more to compare the novel to. If you listened to the first podcast, do you think that their comparison with Bertha and Jane is accurate?

1st Podcast - This podcast was helpful if you had already read the book and they discussed things that I haven't thought about.
Many of the cons about this podcast is that they jump from topic to topic without a lead-in to the story, which would help someone who hasn't read the novel understand what was going on. But if you had read the novel, the podcast made complete sense. Even though they jumped from topic to topic, the listener who read the novel could follow along easily.
