Who would win in a fight Harry or Rochester?
Rochester may have the age on Harry but Harry has a very long reach. Rochester is well known for quick left jab but is also slower and weaker. Harry is known for his stature and powerful right hook, his young age would be a huge factor in this fight. When it comes down to it I think Harry wins due the mighty right hook he possesses. Vote with an explanation below.

I can't believe you would side with Harry. This is even more lopsided than the Eyre and Harvey match up. Rochester is not a man to mess with. He has a past that should make any guy run for cover. Just look what happened to Ol' Mr. Mason. Plus, he does not give up easily. Look how hard he fought for Jane. He is a master at manipulation too, so even if Harry were to pump a bunch of iron, I am certain Rochester would be able to keep him on his toes. I say only one round and it is likely to be a body slam because Rochester would say "I ain't got time for this. I've got bigger issues to deal with" (only it would be in his weird Victorian words). Good luck though! I will still cheer for you. I am glad you are not a fighter. Rochester is scary. Don't be a Rochester.
ReplyDeleteI am going to have to side with Mrs. Coady on this one. I understand that Harry's right hook is crazy good, but Rochester is a man of experience and determination. He won't give up on what he wants, and he is rich enough, that he could just pay someone to fight Harry if he really wanted to. Rochester is about as determined as anyone I have ever met. Great question, but I am going to have to go with Rochester in 7.

ReplyDeleteYeah, Harrison is a cool guy and all, but from the way the book describes Rochester, he seems to be pretty fit, and has definitely been through a lot in his lifetime. Harrison has a pretty slim build, and I think it's pretty likely that the only prior fighting experience he has had is watching show choir girls slap their friends in the faces. My apologies for the roasts, Harrison :)
ReplyDeleteHarrison would lose. Rochester has had to deal with a lot in a life. He also had a brother so he had to deal with him. Unlike Rochester,Harry has a higher endurance due to show choir, but I feel like his noodle arms wouldn't give him much of an advantage.
