How does Jane's maturity grow throughout the story?

At the beginning of the story Jane gets thrown into the red room for beating up John. She gets angry at Mrs. Reed and responds with hostility. She then goes on to Lowood school. She gets an education and becomes a teacher. A while later she takes a job at Thornsfield. She gets asked to come home to see Mrs. Reed at her dying bed. Mrs. Reed shows her the letter and it says that she could have been adopted when she was younger. Jane shows maturity by not getting angry. This shows how mature Jane is.
