Do you think Mr. Brocklehurst is a hypocrite?
I find him to be extremely hypocritical. The example I find from the book is when He gets angry at one girl who has natural curled hair and said that she needs to have it shaved. Also that the girls clothes were too nice for them and they need to build character. But then his daughter walks in with extravagant clothes and nicely curled hair. This made me frustrated a little bit. It seemed very unfair to me and made me consider him a hypocrite.

Yes, he is a hypocrite because since he is from the higher social class he thinks he is privliged to these rights where the girls are not as privleged. He's preaching about the goodness and being plain but he's into fancy things as well as his sisters and wife. It frustrates me as well and I agree with you this makes him a hypocrite.
